Life Ain’t That Deep

Tracie Lynn

This song was inspired by a psychologist I saw on a talkshow.  She was “making a mountain out of a molehill”.

I knew a preacher he always frowned
His disposition really brought me down
He spoke of hell
He screamed of sin
I loved Jesus but I didn’t like him

Why do we have to be so serious
Why do we always have to analyze
Life ain’t a well baby
Life ain’t the sea
Oh honey life ain’t that deep

I had a therapist she had philosophies
Her point of view was just a mystery to me
She spoke of theories
I did not understand
I told her I don’t really give a well……….

Sometimes an inkblot is just a stain
It really doesn’t have to mean a thing
We all could find our way
If we would say what we mean and mean what we say

Don’t care for politics
Don’t like the talk shows
As a rule I don’t like anything vogue
I don’t have answers just some advice
When we’re living we don’t worry about life
